Paraffin Wax
Physicians, Physiotherapists and Arthritis specialists, have recommended Paraffin Wax therapy since 1962, and although it is probably one of the most under-rated treatments, it is now making a come back.The warm paraffin is one of the most effective ways of applying heat to reduce the swelling in muscles, decrease inflammation of joints and connective tissues, soothe the pain from arthritis and improve circulation.
Applied to the hands or feet as an individual treatment or a component of a manicure or pedicure, paraffin wax is a luxurious spa treatment that moisturises and softens the skin. Paraffin wax is a soft wax because of the paraffin oil component and therefore melts at a lower than normal temperature. This means it can be applied to the skin without causing burns or discomfort. During paraffin wax treatments, your therapist apply a generous layer of wax to your hands or feet. The hands or feet are then wrapped in plastic and left to soak in the layer of wax. The skin is bathed in warmth, which helps the pores to open and the skin to soften.
Once the skin has been allowed to soak in the wax and the layer has
hardened, it can be removed easily by your therapist. Because the wax is
soft and contains oil, it does not become very stiff and does not
adhere to the skin. After the paraffin wax treatment, the skin is left
slick and soft.

Jessica Manicure

Jessica Luxury Hand and Nail Treatment

Jessica Pedicure
A luxury foot and leg treatment using aromatherapy based products for softer, smoother feet and legs. Feet are soaked in a light foaming bath that cleans and deodorises while it softens. Cuticle skin is carefully softened and removed with Gentle Cuticle Remover Gel. A non-abrasive scrub is used to exfoliate dry, rough calluses, corns and dead skin, while bringing new skin to the surface. Generous amounts of Pampered Green Tea Silkening Souffle lotion are applied over feet and legs up to the knees, thoroughly massaging whilst focusing on stress points. The nail shape is perfected and finally treatment basecoats and colour are applied for the perfect finish
Jessica Luxury Foot and Nail Treatment
A luxury foot and nail treatment using aromatherapy based products for softer, smoother feet. Thermal bootees help deeper penetration of oils and creams, softening cuticles and improving circulation, and can also help soothe stiff joints. The treatment concludes with a Jessica Pedicure for perfectly polished toenails.
Paraffin Wax Treatment
